Our new Partners Programme has hit the ground running with David Canning from SMC being our very first alliance.  It’s a great new process with Red Ochre working with SMC to assist in the management of operations across all SMC sites.

Greg Allard, Red Ochre, is the contract Operations Manager at SMC and will manage all operations  for SMC which includes Tropicana Gold, Murrin-Murrin and SMC’s newest project in the Pilbarra with Monadelphous.

We’re excited about the new programme because it’s funded by SMC and they are our contract manager. The important issue is that SMC, and not a third party such as a government body is managing our contract.  As a company we’ve chosen to go down this path because we can see the strengths in working for Aboriginal companies directly rather than for government on behalf of an Aboriginal company. It’s got all the right energy and in terms of doing business has lots of strengths; direct lines of communications, directly responsible to the Aboriginal client and the list goes on.
